To any of you musical peeps. I was tooling through www.chordie.com (http://www.chordie.com) looking for some more tunes to play on acoustic and decided to trawl their Supergrass listings.

Not bad, but it is hard to find ones that actually SOUND like the song you want to play.

For instance, Caught By The Fuzz has what sounds like a 6th bar "F" chord (688766) but the tabs call it as a strait "A". Listening to it on the "In It For The Money" dual set, it just does not sound the same...

The Chord Progression they show for the main verse is something like A, D, C#, F#m, G#, which sounds OK, but does not really match exactly....

Anyone with a good ear (or eye, on YT) have any clue on this one?

688766 is an "A sharp/B flat" in standard tuning.
Sounds (get the pun) like you're not in tune with the song.
A "strait "A"" would be 577655 or /02220.
Though I don't really know what a strait A is¿

When I said "strait" I meant just the 002220.....

The tabs sometimes do not list what tuning you need. Or I am just incredibly unobservant! ;)

Thanks 51!

BTW, if you have any way of finding tabs for Palo Alto, I would REALLy appreciate that. They only had 2 lbums, and their lead split off and went on his own after that. There are NO TABS ANYWHERE (free) that I have been able to find. Some of their songs seem to be really nice to play on a clean electric or acoustic......

TIA!

I looked on so many of the ones you guys gave me 51... I was not trying to be facetious.....

I looked on at least 3 different places and I think I requested it too... Maybe it was just the song I was looking for that was not available (or any acoustic tablature)

I will check this when I get home.....
