Would a nearly full HDD (116gb out of 143gb) affect my web browsing speeds? I've been downloading a lot of videos lately but I've been getting behind in watching + deleting them, and it seems like in the past day or two my web browsing speeds are taking a MASSIVE hit. It takes websites that would take me 2 seconds to load around 6-10 seconds, sometimes even sitting there frozen, until it finally just suddenly loads the whole page at once. I have image caching turned on, none of my settings have changed, and I haven't cleared my TEMP folder or anything.

Yea, sounds like you need to do some clean up and defrag. I set my browser cache is relatively small, since our internet lines are much faster now. Really no need to cache much. With a fragmented drive, your browser searching for the cache would be even slower than re-download them.

I would try to clean up the TEMP folder and do some defrag.

Cleared the TEMP folder, dropped about 30 gigs, defragged, and set my browser cache a little bit smaller. It's pretty fast now, so I'm happy! Thanks! :)
