finally the tanks GINORMOUS arms can hit multiple people at one time!

i mean... a hunters swipe does AOE damage...why not those freekin hulk arms of the tank? lol

I am not liking the verses change in the the way the survivor/infected teams are handled. You no longer play each stage twice and it is just confusing the scoring and everything. :confused:

They didn't say that on the readme.... They said that you get to play as Survivor first if you are in the lead....

I think the tank change and the smoker change (dragging through common infected) are my fav changes in this update. Being able to drag survivors out of a vomit-induced horde rush without being on a rooftop is pretty nice :)

I think the Boomer Bile following the laws of gravity is a nice touch too.....

Slay- dont know what you mean.
In the interest of fairness (because one team can know when and where the tank will appear), they switched up which team starts first. But they never cut out playing a round.

And yeah, the boomer and Smoker finally work right!
It was so annoying when a boomer hits someone and you cant smoke them because of a huge horde. Kind of defeated the purpose of a smoker. Now they are really dangerous!

Well, one thing I have noticed is that the survivors are being wiped out almost all the time now. They need to do something about the early tanks and now I have been seeing more stages where the infected team gets 2 tanks.

I was playing Death Toll last night and we ran into 3 witches in 1 stage. :eek:

Also, I am not going by one server, I am going by the multiple of servers and also when playing on the Smiley servers, which are not modded.

I did play on a server that had unlimited pipe bombs/moletovs, unlimited ammo, low gravity, etc. It actually sucked.

The point of L4D, as weird as it sounds, is to be as "realistic" as possible. When you get a mod that removes that, it kind of ruins the mood....


Although I see NO problem in being able to carry more than one molly/pipe bomb. You just have to see what would fit, reasonably, on the player model. If you can fit three on your hip, fine. 10 would be just plain silly.....


But if they were to do that, mollies should have a risk of being damaged when hit, and pipe bombs should go off it brought too close to fire for too long....... ;)

Slay, the buffs had largely to do with versus. I thought your post was referring to versus as well.

The update seems to effect campaign mode as well. Untill this latest update, I have never seen 3 witches in one stage and 2 tanks?

They fixed the boomer. I guess they had the same issue as the smoker not being able to go through common infected.
