It is not just there, we got people going nutz up here in Wisconsin too! I just found out that American Family Insurance quarantined their buildings. No one is allowed to leave their work buildings to goto another one.

My girlfriend works at a daycare that has 3 seperate buildings and no one is allowed to switch buildings, and the kids can't play outside or even in the inside gym area they have. But! Parents can pickup 1 kid from one building and goto another building with that kid to pickup another. Idiots!

People get paranoid about what they do not understand. Pandemic does not mean bad, it just means "well traveled". But the way the news was using it to get ratings....

There was recently a swine flu case here at a local high school. ONE kid came down with swine flu, the whole school is now closed for a week.

I don't get it at all.

Must be the superstitious rural areas, because I'm not seeing anything like that in the city.

Yeah, we had two confirmed cases in the city where I work. Their symptoms were mild. They were middle school kids and told to stay home from school. So, they stayed home and that seems to be the end of it around here! :cool:
