View Full Version : Company disabled extension for Chrome...HALP!

makes perfect sense. They give everyone local admin rights and they install programs left and right and get mad viruses....but chrome extensions are the threat... like my ad blocker that stopped malicious auto installs!

Anyway, this is GPO based with virtually no work around that I am aware of.
Does anyone have a clue on how to get extensions back? Maybe change the default extension location? (i've googled... cant find crap)

fixed it!
found a chrome template for the gpedit snapin.
after adjusting a few settings, it seems to override the GPO form the domain. Even after a restart.

yeah... those corporate idiots do anything to validate their existence.
OBVIOUSLY extensions are a danger to the system!

They even disabled it from being the default browser lol
