I can play UT3 again after the free weekend so maybe it was extended to march 15 the end of the promo or I simply can bypass the system idunno... :D

Greed is fun but... :p and I want to make another mod based on this one and realise what I wanted to do in 2004. All the tricky stuff is already done in this mod.
UT3 worth the $11.95 just for the Warfare mod. Very great mod. It's Onslaught revisited.

Anyone interested to make thief models and skins let me know. Also maybe a realistic skin of 4x4 truck.

The new patch really cleaned up a lot of the issues. The game runs smoother, looks better and the Titan expansion pack is just flat out awesome! Great maps and models are available now!

OK - I haven't played in a few months or so. I applied all the patches, and when I try to start up the game, the saved password for my username isn't working.

How do I change/recover the in-game password? (Not the Steam password - its not running in Steam, thank goodness)

Create a new user by using your fileplanet login and pw. My old user login and pw never worked maybe because it was a demo account.

I played a bit... It is a little disorienting with all the stuff going on.

Also, what the heck is up with NO VOICE CHAT??!?!

You would THINK they would have something deevloped by the 3rd installment! I am so used to L4D and TF2 it is second nature! I do not want to have to type this crap out if I want to Hammar!


BTW, Hammering seems weird too. I was able to telefrag someone, but I find it hard to trace where my disk is going....

I finally was able to connect as well. Turns out it is a 64-bit XP specific problem with winsock (that I don't fully grok yet).

To fix, I had to follow the instructions in this thread (http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=596941&highlight=online+service+unavailable).

I went on grrrl's server too for a bit last night. I don't understand the titan stuff at all yet.

But the gameplay felt really good, I must say.

OK so I was debating UT3... TF2 and L4D and WoW already consume most of my time. Will I find UT3 a refreshing change from TF2 and L4D? or "more of the same"?

I do miss the original UT days... haven't really enjoyed any of the editions since then. Could be my behind the times PC...

It is a change, but unless we get some people we know, it will not be the "same" we all are looking for.

The thing that made games like TF2 and L4D MORE enjoyable was, >sniff<, you guys.... *tear*.
