What is the best inexpensive website software for building a multi page personal website? I am looking for something to build my family's site that will be on my laptop. I want it to be wysiwyg, so I can build my site on the laptop and then upload it to the hosting company. The host I have has several free sitebuilders that dont do what I want. I would like to be able to arrange pics etc and not have to host them seperately at another site to show them. I used to have MS front page and I loved it, but in one of my moves it has been lost. I really dont want to spend a few hundred bucks for my little site. Does anyone have any opinions?
I'm back, just like a bad penny

out of curiosity, what host are you using?

Most hosts use the same/similar wysiwyg editors and let you host everything on their site.
Hell, seems like the majority are doing "unlimited disk space" for like $6 a month now

Just go buy a template. Don't waste your money on software.

          rad -

i guess im getting confused. I used to have justhost and they have a wysiwyg editor, a program that organizes pictures too and you host all your files from them (pretty much why you would get a webhost)

"I would like to be able to arrange pics etc and not have to host them separately at another site to show them"

i guess it's kind of throwing me off

They offer 4 different editors, but I cant load anything I have tried on the craptop so I can play with it without internet access.

You can also develop websites in Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express, it's free and pretty good.
For all the reasons to smile, 'for the hell of it' has always been my favorite.
