  • New NVidia Generation Drivers Must Get!

These drivers solved a problem I was having with Bad Company 2 at low settings. Now with these new 257.15 (256 series) I can play at max settings and without problems and a much lower core temp . I've also read that many other games have seen SIGNIFICANT fps increases as well.

Also to note, they are beta drivers.

Also to note there are pages upon pages of people on the guru3d.com forums who rave about the unbelievable increase in performance.

I have a BFG 8800GTX but newer cards seem to have a better increase in performance.

Cool. I still have a machine running an 8800gtx - will give it a shot.

They are now WHQL and EVEN BETTER!!! Temps are 20 degrees lower for me (with riva running in both scenarios)!!!

I gave them a try last night on my gts 250. Seems to be an improvement in speed. I didn't monitor temps.

Bug free.. please! Most new nvidia drivers are not working correctly with simple soundblaster audio cards. That hurts.

Odds are it's not Nvidia but Creative...

Yeah, after the bad press with Vista drivers, I think Nvidia scrutinizes their driver releases a little harder.
