    Remember back in the day when pressing the turbo button took the CPU from a measly 25Mhz to a blazing 33Mhz. Man, 75% more power with the press of a single button.

    ...until one of your add-in cards locked up because it couldn't handle the higher bus speed, then you had to turn it off and reboot.

    I just remember when computer games did not check clock speeds. So when you loaded your PC version of Q-Bert on a 12 MHz machine when it was written for a 4, well, things went rather fast!

    That was also when several games would fit on a single 1.44 floppy. Man, talk about ancient history!

    vostro is the budget version of the latitude. if i ever have my choice, i will always buy a latitude.

    too late now.... i am used to using inspirons which seem much more solid than this vostro
