Sorry to see the hackers are bothering so many people Wes.
What is the deal with these people anyway? Like this ransomware stuff, shutting down the oil/gas pipeline. You would think that one of the alphabet agencies could hunt them down and make them “sorry” for this. Take out enough of them and maybe others would think twice about doing it.
Too bad they can’t use their talents for more constructive things.

Completely agree. Certain hacking method require lot of computers and computer power. So, they try to hack as many server as possible to help their hacking on more and more sites.
The final target usually get them money, like the pipeline, or server will valuable information like credit card info or database with people’s identity info.
